WORKSHOPS IN ROMANIA

Easter Photography Workshop in Maramureş

Maramureş in Romania is like a place encapsulated in time bubble. A place where wooden huts adorn rolling hills, horse drawn carts are more the rule than exception, where villagers throw open their door to visiting strangers, where octogenarians are happy to share their life stories. Maramureş is a mesmerising place, often referred to as the hidden jewel of Romania.
I have been exploring this magical place for many years now and I feel it is time I share this ‘little secret’ with my fellow photographers. I am hosting a small photography workshop in Maramureş, where I would be happy to share my knowledge of the place and the people. And in a place still deeply rooted in religion, what better time to explore the land than during the Easter weekend. Be ready to be dazzled by the century old traditions, gestures, prayers, foods, like some ancient messengers from a glorious past. I assure you Maramureş is unlike any other part of Europe you have seen.

Cost: Euro 500 per partipant

Şirnea, again

Because winter it's painting it in an amazing way... because it's people are beautiful and because we are glad to meet them again, because the stories are all over, because we really love it!

Şirnea area in wintertime

How do you feel revisiting an area you know perfectly well, that still offers you something new every time? That fresh things happen in places extremely familiar to you? You see stories that make you feel like being there for the very first time. I often feel like this in Sirnea area!

Back to Holbav

Holbav is one place among many others in my country that succeeds in combining everything: landscapes, people, habits. My great luck is that it lies very close to the city I live in. Over the years, I learnt its footpaths and I met many of its people. I find it absolutely fascinating in each season and every single visit there is a real pleasure.
