Marginimea Sibiului is a place of many legends. A legend warns every living soul not to throw rocks in a lake because you will awake and upset the dragon who lives underneath its water, and this will unleash a terrible storm over that place. Somebody might have just done that because I got to see for myself the disaster left behind by a storm that stroke the area moments before my arrival. But the storm did not chase away the magic from these places, and I got to have my share of it. I met people who fought bears, or remained steadfast in the face of wolves, or used to abduct the girls they loved. They told me all these stories up in the mountains the beauty of which they wanted to share with me, and which they climb every day to milk their cows and sheep.
